Severn Trent Water
Richard from Severn Trent Water visited school to work with Class 3.
Richard explained about the work of Severn Trent Water and how we can help to save water.
We carried out an activity in groups. Each group was a family and we had to discover which families were water wasters and which families were water savers.

Class 3 have been tasting salads as part of our work in Food Technology. We call this evaluating existing products. We tasted a couscous salad with vegetables, sweet corn and pasta, a rice salad and a spicy noodle salad. We recorded the appearance, smell, taste and texture and gave each salad a score.
Next lesson we will be following a recipe to make our own salads.

Open Door at Shrewsbury Abbey
Year 4 attended Open Door at Shrewsbury Abbey. The day was based around the story of the Prodigal Son and the theme of forgiveness. Here are some of the wonderful range of items we made on the day.

Class 3 have been classifying different foods as part of our topic on Humans and Keeping Healthy. We worked as part of a group and choose our own way of grouping. We then shared our ideas with the rest of the class.
Our Past Work
