Class 3 - Summer 2013
Pioneer Centre
On Tuesday the 18th of June class three visited the Pioneer centre in Cleobury Mortimer for the day. We did lots of exciting activities including caving, archery abseiling, climbing and high ropes. The activities were quite challenging but we all had a lot of fun and went home laughing and very tired.

The Victorians
We went to Blist's Hill on a school trip. There were lots of shops set up as Victorian shops, our favourite was the sweet shop. Some of the other shops were; the chemist’s shop where you could buy Victorian medicine and see an old fashioned dentist’s chair, there was also a furniture shop with a metal tub for a bath.
We learned lots about the Victorians' lives, there was a bucket for a toilet, they had to ride on carriages pulled by horses because they didn’t have cars and when they went to school they had to have their hands checked that they were clean and if they were naughty they got the cane or the dunce hat!
When we got back to our school we wrote a leaflet about Blist’s Hill, some of us used the computer and some of us did it by hand. We worked on them for two days and all worked really hard.
