Class 4 Autumn Term 2014
Attingham Park Visit 12th November 2014
Class 4 are looking at landscapes.
These pictures were inspired by the work of Georgia O'Keeffe called 'View from the Lake'. The children used blue, yellow, black and white to create their work, mixing colours and exploring a variety of textures.
Diwali Week
This week our whole school assembly was about the celebration of Diwali. During our key stage 2
assembly we shared the story of Rama and Sita. To complete our work linked with Diwali, we made
(and ate) Diwali biscuits and explored symmetry and shape through Rangoli patterns.

Literacy
As part of our literacy work, we wrote instructions for punctuating direct speech. We then shared
our knowledge and understanding with class 3. This was an excellent speaking and listening
opportunity which enabled us to also discuss adverbs, interesting verbs and proper nouns.
