This week we have been reading 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' and learning about the life cycle of the butterfly. We have been making pictures of caterpillars and the food they eat using our cutting skills and making caterpillars out of wood.
We have been learning how to move like caterpillars and butterflies.

We have an incubator in nursery with some chicken eggs, kindly supplied Mr Joe Jarvis of Hollowdene Hens. We have been watching them hatch out into fluffy little chicks!
