Bantam Chicks
A huge ‘Thank You’ to Mr Ford for bringing in some bantam chicks to school last Friday. Key stage one children had the excellent opportunity of seeing the five day old chicks closely and even got to hold the chicks gently! Chickens Mr Jarvis will be visiting the nursery and class 1 tomorrow with some chickens. The children will be looking after these until the end of the week. If any parents have contact with farm animals, we would love to hear from you to help us provide first hand experiences for the children! Congratulations to Mrs Healey who is the winner of the May 100 club draw with ticket 38
Spare Shoeboxes If you have any spare shoeboxes at home, please could these be sent into school for children to use linked to some science learning. We would need these by a week on Wednesday (24th May).

Please return all entries by Monday 22nd May.

The children shared some of the interesting things they had learned in Friday’s celebration assembly. The children’s behaviour was also noted to be fantastic throughout the trip. Well done everyone!
