Earlier this term, children in EYFS and KS1 enjoyed a visit from Sarah Griffiths, a local children’s author. Sarah shared her wonderful stories and the powerful positive messages behind each book. She also talked to pupils in KS1 about how she became an author and the process behind creating a book! Nursery and Reception enjoyed ‘Bounce Back Jack’ exploring theme of resilience and never giving up. Year 1 listened to ‘Sophie’s Spectacles’ which helped us to celebrate our individuality! Finally, Year 2 engaged with ‘Jack and the Genie’, a story all about staying true to ourselves! Thank you Sarah for a lovely morning!
