After an exciting lesson learning all about what an algorithm is, pupils began to think about how they could create their own, focussing upon the importance of the algorithm being clear and precise. Children had a lot of fun as they worked with Miss Price to follow an algorithm that was very vague, but was supposed to result in the making of a jam sandwich, then they took to the challenge of improving the algorithm and enjoyed pausing to test and then edit and improve. At the end of the lesson it was time to put the algorithms to the tests, before eating the jam sandwiches!
