This week we have been learning about Harvest time.
We investigated which fruits and vegetables are harvested and how. We also thought about all the hard work that the farmers have to do to get all the food gathered in!
We had a close look at the different fruits and vegetables, feeling, smelling and looking really carefully at which colours we need to use when we draw each of them.
We then used the vegetables to make a pumpkin soup!
We chopped, sliced and put a pinch of salt in the soup maker and waited for it to cook….
We then tasted it…. some of us liked it but one of us didn’t!
