Music, Knights and Dragons' Eggs

In nursery this week we had a visit from Rosie from the Shropshire music service; we had a wonderful time learning some new songs and playing different musical instruments.

Our topic this week was all about dragons, we joined reception class to create a large dragon for each classroom.
We have been learning about feelings and friendships through the story of Knights and Dragons unite.

The children have been practicing their cutting skills when creating split pin dragons and knights to use during role play of the story.

In forest school we discovered dragon eggs, The children had lots of fun trying to discover if there were baby dragons inside them.

As part of our movement session we were developing our core muscles and balancing skills using the balance board.
