In History, Willow have been learning about the impact of the war on the lives of people. We have been studying the impact of evacuation on the children and how women had to step into the roles of auxiliary soldiers and factory workers.
We learnt how women worked in crucial roles at Bletchley Park and were vital ‘computers’ in helping decoding important German military war messages.
