This week we have been learning about the Easter story.
We learnt about how Jesus returned to Jerusalem on a donkey. Most people were really happy to greet him, waving palm leaves, laying their coats on the ground for him to walk on and shouting ‘Hosanna’!
We also learnt that not everyone agreed with Jesus and didn’t want him around. Sadly, he died on a cross and was buried in a tomb. But after 3 days, Christians believe he rose again and walked amongst his friends, giving them hope.
In forest school we made ‘Easter gardens’, with a cross, a tomb and a sign of new life, a flower.
