Birch class got busy making bread on the first day back after Christmas. They mixed ingredients to make dough, then kneaded it and left it to rise. They added the additional ingredients that they had chosen when designing their rolls for someone prior to the holidays. Some chose savoury fillings such as cheese and garlic, others chose sweet fillings such as marshmallows and chocolate chips. The rolls were shaped prior to being baked. We were lucky enough to evaluate the look and taste of the rolls in the afternoon – delicious!
