This week we have been creating some winter art. We looked at the sky and trees around our school.
Next, we created a winter sky with watercolours, selecting the pastel shades of blues, greys, orange and pinks.
After the background skies had dried, we drew on the ‘skeleton trees’, looking really closely at how the branches got thinner as they grew up.
Finally we added some white paint and glitter to show the frost and ice.
