As part of our Science topic this term (Rocks and Soils), we investigated how soil is created. We had a look at some soil and then shook it up with water in a jar so we could see if it separated out into layers. We learned all about the layers of soil and were pleased to see ours did separate out to mimic what happens in real life. Everyone enjoyed giving the jars a good shake!
